Tenerife south presents one of the most amazing dive sites in the Canary Islands. Seascuba is situated opposite the Playa Arena Beach near to Puerto de Santiago where you can find wounderful underwater adventures.  The sea life here is outstanding, and you can experience the thrill of diving in Tenerife, with turtles, Rays and shoals of tropical fish.

Scuba diving or snorkeling here on our island offers some of the most amazing volcanic rock formations with some small caverns in which to swim through and plenty of marine life. When we dive  in Tenerife, we regularly see Bream, Sea Bass, Wrasse, Barracuda, Amber jacks, Octopus, Murray eel, just to name a few, and also some of the biggest Stingrays , which are very used to scuba divers and generally offer close encounters with the divers. (Gentle Giants).

Seascuba usually arrange 2/3 dives a day with the deepest dive site planned in the morning, each dive usually takes around 2 to 3 hours from the moment divers leaves the dive centre in Playa Arena to the moment we return back: normally we return to the dive centre between two dives, except for when we drive out to further coasts on the other side of the island which usually is for a full day out for two dives.
We regularly visit around 32 different dive sites in Los Gigantes Tenerife suitable for for different qualifications; some require divers to be qualified up to advanced open water (PADI) or Sport Diver (BSAC) due to depth limits. Water temperature can range from 18c to 24c, we dive in full-length suits 5mm but in the summer we can get away with 3mm shorties.

When we dive in Tenerife, on specials occasions we also get the local Tenerife Bottle Nose Dolphins following the dive boats in Los Gigantes, they are amazing to see, especially when accompanied by the shoals of whales in our local Tenerife waters.

Scuba diving equipment can be left at our dive centre in Playa Arena, near to Puerto De Santiago throughout your stay and can be left to dry before your return to your country. Our experienced Padi 5 Star dive resort in Tenerife will offer you all the help you need when diving.

Learning to scuba dive has never been more convenient!

You can now complete the theory portion of most PADI courses online with PADI eLearning.

Convenient online access to knowledge development course material for one year.

Unlimited access to an online version of the PADI Manual for the course you have signed up for.

Each course has a different cost, payable directly to PADI upon enrolment.  Courses available are Scuba tune up; Open Water; Advanced; Rescue; Photography; Enriched Air NITROX; DiveMaster; Instructor Development.

There are additional charges for in-water training and equipment rental payable directly to Seascuba.

How does it work?

4. At your own pace complete knowledge assessments.
